It sounds like a lot of fun. I have really changed my views on Mystery quilts, many of you know I use to call them Misery Quilts, lol. I think alot of that had to do with the instructions given. If they don't give you helping hints on colors, wheather they need to be warm or cool, dark or light. It is a toss-up on how it is going to come out.
